Polish Pile Purge! Remembering Forgotten Colours

Hey Nailistas!

This week I sat down and emptied the two giant bags that I keep all of my polishes in and had a good sort out of EVERYTHING! I had noticed that I'd managed to collect so many polishes over the past couple of years, that I have been forgetting about all the really amazing ones I've been buying and have been using the same ones over and over again.

So, this week I decided to use some of the polishes that I've been neglecting. Over the course of the week, I've changed my designs twice, but for the first one I made use of some really lovely blues and a silver that I found buried at the bottom of the polish pile. I wanted to make each nail different, as I tend to prefer variety when it comes to designs and this was the finished product. My personal favourite is the polka-dot!

Later on in the week, I picked out some gorgeous purples and paired them with a simple grey and some glitter. Again, as I'd been enjoying having each of my nails looking a little different from the rest, I used the same approach and made sure that each one, albeit similar, was distinctive and used the combination of colours differently.

I'm still wearing this mani now and am really enjoying it! I haven't worn purple on my nails for a long time, so it's nice to have a bit of a change and I think I'll be wearing these colours much more in the future...once I've made use of my other 'forgotten' polishes, of course!

I've also recently ordered a couple of new nail-related products, so I'm thinking that for my next blog, I'll be either reviewing those or putting together my personal nail art must-haves and sharing and comparing with you all, so watch this space!
