What's good, beauty nerds?
I'm a bad blogger. I know. Sorry. I've kinda sorta sold out to YouTube a little bit. What can I say? I freakin' love editing, guys! I'm a self-professed nerd, after all.
Remember a few weeks (ok, months) ago when I said that I bought myself a beautiful jacket from Luxemme? Well, now I've got a jumper too!
If you didn't read my last post, Luxemme is a small and upcoming clothing company based in Manchester. Taking inspiration from both Manchester street style and Parisian classics, they pride themselves on selling luxury, staple pieces that won't break the bank, which is handy for when you wanna treat yourself as well as afford Christmas presents for everyone else, right?!
As I said before, Luxemme doesn't have the hugest range of clothing and their pieces sell out pretty quickly, but I definitely wouldn’t let either of those things deter you. Try to remember that they sell staple pieces and, therefore, they don’t actually need to sell a huge range of products to compete with some other companies that sell a much wider variety of clothing. Rather than shipping their pieces off to charity by the time the following season rolls around, you’re more likely to keep Luxemme’s clothing, which ranges from playsuits to jackets, as a long-term feature of your wardrobe.
I was lucky enough to be offered a product for free and was able to choose from a range of their items. Their playsuits are stunning, but not something I’d personally wear. If they’re your thing, then go wild! Instead, I opted for their Abella Luxe Chunky Knitted Jumper. Basically, it’s gorgeous. The almost lime-tinted mustard colour is perfect for the Autumn and Winter months and the distressed patches give it a wonderfully shabby chic vibe. I like to pair is with skinny jeans, black boots and my wide-brimmed hat. Cute, right?!I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again: I really like Luxemme’s products. Having tried a couple of their pieces, I can honestly say that I’m impressed with their quality and will definitely be keeping them in mind for future statement piece purchases.
